 Update #4 (Here is the screen shot of an email I received over the weekend:

 On April 27th it will be 4 weeks since Ancestry has received my Spit Sample.)

It has been a few years since I last posted any updates or changes in my life in the 21st Century, So many things, I will have to post on those later.
But today's post is about DNA, Ancestry DNA.
 I paid for 2 tests, 1 for myself and 1 for the Hubster.
They arrived today. We plan on filling the Saliva tub tomorrow morning before Coffee, Eating, Smoking as per the instructions.Here are some photos of the DNA box and testing items inside.
 I will update my blog in 6 to 8 weeks with the results.
(UPDATE: Both kits have been Registered and Activated 03/22/2017)
(UPDATE #2 Took the spit test to the black line, test is sealed and ready for USPS to pick up) For 30 minutes I had to wait after I brushed my teeth, my mouth was dry, did not think I was going to be able to fill to the black line..... Now after the spit test..my mouth is so watery...nice lol
(UPDATE #3 Received an email yesterday stating Ancestry received my Spit Sample)

In the 21st Century, I have pure enjoyment in my front yard at night ;-)

Where I live it is hard to look at let alone capture great images of what is in my corner of Space.
There is an Air Force Base and an International Airport near by, so the lights of the runway are always ON... That makes my location in the Red Zone on the Light Pollution Map.

These photos were process through a camera stationed on the telescope then processed through a laptop using iCap for the Planets and Backyard ESO for the Orion's Nebula and the Moon.

Yes, it looks like a plastic Saturn hanging in-front a black screen. It is real. The first attempt :-)

The images that follow are much better with practice and patience..which at the time I had neither :-(
I was whining inside my brain, WHY?! is this taking so long to process. Why am I freezing for images that look like plastic toys....but as time progressed, I became much wiser and maybe a little older..Shhh no real age was given to protect the innocent, ME! And much better at this new hobby :)
